Creating home directory shares

System Manager enables you to create a home directory share and manage home directory search paths.

Before you begin

Steps

1.	From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.

2.	Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.

3.	In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) and click Storage > Shares.

4.	Click Create Home Directory and provide the pattern information that determines how a user is mapped to a directory.

5.	Click Create.

6.	Verify that the home directory you created is listed in the Shares window
